GARY’S “GAMEDAY PICKS” UPDATE: CFB WK 9, NFL WK 8 (*thru NOV. 2, 2021)

Hi Gary Greene/Bluebook Sports Fans,

Well guys and gals we had a winning week but our lowest CFB picks in one week in a very long time. I found the overall board just poor and didn’t push the envelope. We ended up (2-2) with a split of our two “Best Bets”, winning Mississippi State easily but losing our Total (Over) on Duke/Wake as Duke just couldn’t cash in over and over and the game got too out of hand early. We just continue our torrid NFL run this season and really the past 10 seasons as we swept the board (3-0). We didn’t have any NFL “Best Bets”.

I have gotten mostly solid comments and replies this year from my “Gameday Club” clients and one of my newer clients who joined off one of my radio show guest spots a few weeks ago did call me to tell me he was Upset with me for the CFB (2-2) week. He asked me why did I not just pick 5 games so we couldn’t split out (*which as we all know is not a winning card as we lose the vig/juice!). This is where the tough part of either making only picks I actually bet myself or possibly adding a pick I didn’t bet just to give that particular day a chance of being a winner and not a split day. I only give for the long haul (the entire season overall) and never for any one day. I get where this new client is coming from. I get he’s buying only the one week at a time. But I will never make up a forced play for the simple reason to not have a chance to only split. I only care one thing, that’s my season record after the Super Bowl ends. Every week is different. If I see 10 plays I will give 10. If it’s a weaker card in my mind, it will be 4. Now 4 is the lowest I’ve given in any one Saturday CFB card in years so I doubt that 4 ever happens again.

The next question I got is from another newer client and why when I am so red hot in NFL am I now giving more plays and more NFL Best Bets? The NFL has much fewer games, more so with a handful on BYE week. I’d love to have lots of Best Bets. But again the past picks are just that: THEY ARE THE PAST. The season record means zero when making picks for a new week. To be a long time big winner this is all a grind. I’ve given picks for 9 weeks now and I am up just over 18 Units for the season. That is really just 2 Units each week on average so far. Week to week if you only win (+2 UNITS) most clients won’t be happen, especially those on only for that one given week. But 95% of my clients are on for the entire season. It’s a long grind and I will take (+2 units) ahead average every week for the rest of my betting life.

I did lose my only MLB World Series pick last week ending the perfect Playoffs run at (5-1). I am kinda thankful it’s over and happy we could add a few units to the overall win amount (I give MLB Playoffs free with Football Picks Packages). I don’t add the won or loss to the Football Won/Lost Units so the overall won is higher than the (+18.58 Units).

I want to thank the dozens who sent in a nice donation to my Charities. I actually gave out the weekend picks for free to over a dozen new callers from the radio shows asking them to just pay me if we won with a donation amount they chose fair to the amount they happen to bet on each game. All but two guys gave me their word if I won they’d pay. So really lots of needy people won and that’s best feeling ever. God Bless to everyone who is a season client (many on commission only basis) and keep sending donations in any week we do well. We have raised over 6 digits already in just 2 months. With the world crashing and more folks becoming food insufficient, these donations are so so amazing.

Ok well we hope you all had a winning week last week and may all your wagers this week be WINNING ones.

ps- We will have much more than 4 CFB picks this week…lol…great card and one of my favorite fun picks called the 100-1000 Club (yes this one is a Huge Best Bet).

God Bless and stay SAFE!

Gary Greene
