GARY’S “GAMEDAY PICKS” RECAP: CFB WEEK 2/NFL WEEK 1

ROCKY CFB WEEK 2, NFL WEEK 1 SPLITS OUT!

Well College Football didn’t go as planned as we hit Rutgers to start day, then lost the next 4 for just a very disappointing day. Week 1 of NFL ended (2-2) which isn’t bad, but losing the Titans/Cards game: “OVER 53 1/2” by 1/2 point, with an extra point missed, then two easy FG’s, then no points scored in final 18:03 of the game, now that sucked. The Sportsbooks had a field day winning nearly everything, so for most bettors it was a really bad start to the new NFL season. We now sit at (8-8) combined overall this season.

We do already have a few 1 1/2 Unit “Best Bets” in CFB and one in the NFL and we expect a good ten plays for the full week starting with a rare weekday game pick (Thursday Night).

The new week’s Magazine Football stats are up and loaded. It’s too early for a few of the pages to have any real value, but there are still some very valuable and helpful pages that will make your handicapping time be a lot easier.

I also loaded my first Podcast of the season (two Parts) and you can listen to that as I go in depth reviewing all last weeks NFL games. I will start doing a CFB Podcast mid week next week as I am still learning so many teams and I am trying to manage my week and this week the WordPress system broke down again (as I does all the time when they make changes and they wreak havoc on me and my tech)….hopefully it’s all fixed again and we can just focus all on the games only.

We refunded all the one week only buyers ($99 bucks) for last week rather than just give you this week free. It’s your call to sign up again or maybe some of you are unhappy if last week was your first ever buy of my Gameday Picks. I know that the past few years I get new sign ups from my guest appearances on radio shows and other marketing stuff we do weekly and I know any past success I’ve had means nothing. I don’t really offer a money back guarantee when you lose, and thankfully I haven’t had too many really bad weeks over the years. But when I do it’s easier to just refund immediately. It’s your call if you want to try again this week. I do like the picks we’ve made so far this week, but I liked last week’s picks too. Of course with each new week of games played I do feel more comfortable with all the teams, and I learn about the numerous teams with new Head Coaches and new OC and DC’s and that always is a big help/advantage as the season progresses.

Hope you all had a winning week last week on your own bets and have a great/safe/winning weekend ahead.

God Bless,

Gary Greene
