NFL WEEK 1 RECAP AND REPORT BY GARY GREENE
Well it did not take long for the wagon wheels of the Cleveland Browns to fall right off in the very first game of this new season. Coming into the game it seems like the entire world was backing the Browns not just to win this game vs. the Titans, but to go the Super Bowl. It's usually College kids they read their great Press clippings that fall into the "big head syndrome" and believing they are better than they really are. But this past week it was clearly the entire Browns team that may have as they were not ready in any phase of the game. They had an insane 18 penalties....as I watched I wanted to throw the white towel in for them to just stop the game. QB Mayfield was simply way too wired up and the Offense nor the Defense ever got into any real sync or rhythm. But as bad as the Browns looked, give credit to the Titans, a team I feel is a sleeper this year if Mariota stays healthy. As good as the Titans win was, the OL was shaky at ...
2019 NFL PREDICTIONS
Well folks another new NFL season is upon as tonight as the Packers head to Lambeau Field to face the Bears. Time to finally see some real action.
The funny thing for many years as I dominated betting College Football and CFB Totals to an insane high winning level, it was the NFL season I would dread as it simply was a much harder ride from week to week for me. We never went on gigantic runs like we did in College Football. Then 8 years ago I decided to make some hard changes in my Handicapping style when it comes to NFL picking. The changes paid off huge dividends immediately, and amazingly the winning we've had in those 8 years has now surpassed our CFB winning. In fact, there likely aren't 5 people in the country with a higher winning % in the NFL over that 8 year time span. We now can't wait for Sunday's to arrive. Being in the craziest career Profession imaginable it's time to start year 31 tonight. It's almost hard to believe we have done this for 3 ...
COLLEGE FOOTBALL 2019 LOADED WITH STUD QB'S!
Well folks it's gonna be one exciting CFB Season this '19 campaign as we have so, so many really talented QB's that we likely will see scoring at a high as I simply don't see many teams with star power Defenses to slow these studs down. Most people now of course fully know about Clemson's Lawrence and Bama's Tua Tags. Both of those guys will possibly break every record in the books if both stay healthy as both have loaded and elite talent around them. Bama has the best wide receiver combo (3 headed) I've seen in years and should easily put up 45+ points a game this year as Tua is so deadly and on target and these Wideouts are simply NFL caliber right now and they all just bully the Defensive backs trying to cover them.
But these two studs are just the notch above in this year's QB nation in CFB as Georgia's Fromm is another big pass throwing stud who also has elite talent all around him making him just as good as the top two just mentio...
We are still a month away from the two most said words in sports, other then the two words "Super Bowl" and those two words are "MARCH MADNESS"! Some seasons we have had two or three elite teams that you would've been hard pressed to expect one of those 3 to cut down the nets at that years Final 4.
This College Hoops season though has no clear cut team and although teams like Duke and Tennessee are led by two top Lottery Picks each, this years eventual Champ can emerge from as deep as possibly 18 teams. After the Opening night loss by Kentucky to Duke by what seemed like 100 points, the Wildcats have rebounded to now being a solid threat to win it all. Duke dusted off Virginia a second time with it's 1-2 punch of Barrett and Zion the best we've maybe seen in many, many years.
I have to say I really expect this to be the best Sweet 16 we've even seen in March Madness and when you have a team like Villanova (10-0 to start Big East play) was not even in the Committee's first Top 16 ...
Well folks on Saturday December 8th, we get to witness the best sporting event of each and every year, the Army/Navy game. Regardless or each teams record, this is the one game that records don't matter. It's two of our greatest groups of men who sacrifice their lives for our country, and although they already have a very busy schedule, they decided to play a sport as well. For all the Seniors on Navy, this will likely be the very last game they ever play on the Football Field.
In a rivalry that was completely one sided and dominated by Navy with 14 straight wins before the last two meetings, both won by Army. Last year in the snow Army held on for a 14-13 win. The prior year Army snapped that horrific 14 game losing skid to it's hated rival, with a 21-17 victory.
The past matchups since 2011 have all been decided by a Touchdown or less. For the Navy side, 2011 is also the last year they didn't end up in a Bowl game. It's been a terrible season for Navy, winning only 3 and ...
Well folks we have now seen everyone enough to easily get solid grades for everyone out there. This year has seen the loaded and well coaches Rams simply dominate really all it's opponents. Right now easily clear favorite to win the Super Bowl.
As good as this season has gone for the Rams, it's been a different story and bad start for a few teams who expected to be Playoff Caliber teams. The N.Y. Giants are the team playing way under it's potential. They picked stud RB Barkley and he's played very well. Not many other players on his squad have though, especially QB Eli Manning, who just looks slow, old, and possibly on his final weeks if things don't improve fast.
This week we have a few young Rookie QB's heading into some rough terrain as the Jets young QB Darnold will face of the elite Defensive Minds in the NFL for years, Minny HC and really DC as well, Mike Zimmer. This will be a real test and good look at where he is with now half dozen games under his belt.

NFL A.T.S. UPDATED RECORDS THRU ALL WEEK 3 GAMES:
UNDERDOGS WHO WON STRAIGHT UP: (20)
DOUBLE DIGIT FAVORITES: (1-3) A.T.S.
GARY'S FINAL THOUGHTS:
Well most shocking loss not just in point spread, but really I've seen in years as the Vikings losing to the winless Bills, who were really bad thru first two weeks, and Rookie starting QB Allen in his first Road game start, was something not many expected. I didn't expect the Vikings to lose straight up, but I am not shocked. Kirk Cousins for 4 straight years flopped in every third game. Rarely did he ever win 3 straight and his 5-24 record vs. winning teams is why. Losing this badly to this really bad Bills team really must have Vikings Exec's crapping their pants. For those who only look at stats, most of Cousins yards were in second half down big and Bills playing Prevent Defense, and passing 59x and ...
